David
Fiorenza’s passion for playing music goes beyond other artists out there
right now. Even after hundreds of performances, and having his music on
the radio in several different continents and countries around the
world, David still has that hunger and drive for his music. David has
played venues from music halls, to ice cream shops, to a man made UFO.
David’s love for his music is a great inspiration to anybody who might
forget that spark which started the fire for their dreams.

From
a region where new country and hip-hop own the large music venues, Gwen
Hughes is probably the busiest, genre-busting singer on the scene.
Gwen is almost chameleon –
like. , Jazz, Pop, Bluegrass, Blues, acoustic, - how do you put a label
on someone who crosses so many genres’ of music and does it so well?
Gwen writes her own
powerful music and is equally strong reinventing cover songs. In many
instances I found it humorlessly difficult to distinguish Gwen’s
original writings from her renditions of others. To me that speaks
volumes!
On her latest CD, Instead
of Light, Gwen was invited to work with the legendary Danny Kopelson who
won a Grammy for his engineering work on Cassandra Wilson’s, “New Moon
Daughter and had just finished Amos Lee’s debut record with Lee
Alexander and Norah Jones before going into the studio with Gwen.
For the next few minutes
we’ll be talking with Gwen and listening to music from her new CD and a
few things from her past cataloged.
