Hiring
a promoter to get your CD heard on radio stations across the country
and doing nothing else but that is not going to put money back in
your pocket. Many will tell you it will but, it doesn't."
One of the many
reasons is, too many CD's and not a big enough market to play them
all unless -- you can really get attention.
I have since
implemented a solution to this problem by shifting some of my
resources to getting artists interviewed on the NPR news programs
and other large syndicated shows.
These news
magazines are cleared on 500 to 600 radio stations at once.
